Clams Season Table Lamp

Table lamp from the ‘Clam season’ series. The series includes vases, lamps, jewelry boxes, and bags. I created the series after my trip to Sinai, where I had the opportunity to dive and expose myself to the world of corals. During the dive, it was possible to clearly see areas where the coral had disappeared or almost disappeared due to climate change in recent decades. Following the trip, I decided to create a series of objects inspired by corals and shells, as an attempt to compensate for the lack of coral through artificial means. The series aims to remind the importance of coral as part of the ecosystem. 
 
The process of creating the series combines digital and traditional technics.
