Crackled Teapot

The series was created by accident. While experimenting with different types of clay, I sculpted several pieces. Upon returning in the morning, after the pieces had dried, I discovered that some of the works in which I used a certain type of clay had cracked everywhere possible. Initially, I was very disappointed that the works did not survive the drying process, but upon further reflection, the cracks formed in such a uniform and interesting way that I had to seize the opportunity. I filled the cracks with mortar, and thus the series was created.
